Porto Business School Scholarship

Porto Business School (University of Porto) is now accepting applications for a Full Scholarship to its International MBA Program. This Scholarship covers 100% of tuition (valued at €30,000) and is open to experienced professionals ready to take the next step in their careers. Please note: The Scholarship covers full tuition cost only. Costs for travel and room and board must be covered by the successful recipient.

A full-tuition International MBA in Porto

An MBA can be a career-changing move, but cost is often the biggest obstacle. This Scholarship is designed to remove that barrier, making it possible to pursue a top-tier MBA experience focused on practical business skills, leadership development, and a global outlook.

The program is delivered in English and takes place in Porto, Portugal, offering an immersive environment and an international cohort experience.

Program dates and format

The International MBA runs 11 to 15 months, starting September 21, 2026

The structure blends in-person intensity with potential flexibility later in the program:

  • Term 1 and Term 2 are completed in person in Porto, with required attendance during the core period.
  • Term 3 may be completed online if you secure an internship or exchange opportunity abroad.

Important deadlines

Applications are open until April 30, 2026, with the Scholarship decisions announced in June 2026.

Who can apply

To be eligible for this Scholarship, candidates must be a past recipient of the LiUNA Local 183 Scholarship program and must have:

  • At least 3 years of working experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluency in English

What you’ll need to submit

Your application includes:

  • Letter of Employment
  • Official Transcript
  • Essay detailing how this scholarship opportunity will impact your educational journey and how you plan to give back to the community in the future. The essay should not exceed 500 words in length. Ensure that all sources referenced are properly cited.

How selection works

The selection process will be conducted by a panel of experts appointed by Porto Business School. The panel will assess each candidate’s academic and/or professional achievements, leadership potential, personal and professional development goals, and essay. The panel’s decision will be final and not subject to appeal.
